Evolving internally
God's word changes us internally by stretching the fabric of our mind and creating awareness of the limitless possibilities in God. Small-minded people are simply fitting into the size of their mental container; they think small, lack imagination, are cynical about possibilities and skeptical about innovation. This is what a steady diet of the mindset prevalent in this age can do to a person. However, when you consistently receive the word of God into your mind and allow it free rein, something radical begins to happen. As you read about God’s majesty, His omnipotence, and His willingness to do anything for His children (suspending time and altering the length of a day, reversing menopause, bringing the dead back to life), something begins to change within you. You begin seeing possibilities where you thought none existed. You begin to see the prospect of positive outcomes in your life. And as your mind enlarges, your life will also enlarge correspondingly. Selah!
