“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

For you to enjoy the goodness of abundant life that Jesus Christ came to the world to give, you need to know the character of this life.

Some children of God short-change themselves because they do not have the true understanding of the redemption that Christ earned for us through The blood that he shed on the cross of Calvary is an all round that reaches all aspect of our lives (Colossians 1:14; 20).

For instance, he did not only redeem us from the power of sin. He had also transformed us to be one of the citizen of His Father's kingdom.

As one of the citizen of Heaven, we are lifted above all principalities and powers of this world. The Holy Spirit makes this clear in the following scriptures.

“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” Ephesians 1:20-21.

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:5

The reason for this is that Satan will not be able to torment us anymore because we are no more inside his custody, where sin had kept us. We are now free.

Jesus has paid the price and we are now free from the tyrant master (1st Corinthians 7:23, Hebrews 2:14). We are now promoted to the post of a kings and priest as it is written in Revelation 5:10

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priest: and we shall reign on the earth.”

We are now redeemed and lifted high above sorrow, sickness, poverty and every oppression of the devil.
