HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES 2

When a man or woman’s priority isn’t God, they resort to other options separate from God. In their quest to finding fulfillment or getting a vacuum filled, they focus their attention on other alternatives-human relationships, personal ambitions, career, marriage, work, children, home. In spite of all, the vacuum isn’t filled because they turn to the wrong sources. This is the state of a man who has not learned to lie down in green pastures.

As Christians, we must hand over our lives in totality to God, including the specific areas we struggle with. If we don’t give up controlling those aspects, they could become our undoing. Always, the devil works on our weak points and tends to magnify our areas of deficiencies to attack us. We must not let him!

If we don’t seek God while He may be found, we get frustrated. If we don’t practice a conscious daily walk with Him so much that He is the greatest reality to us, we won’t find Him in our greatest challenges. We need a consistent relationship with God that would move us beyond the level of viewing Him as some heavenly creature that we need to run to when we have problems to fix. We should rather build a constant fellowship with Him, everyday of our lives.

When anxiety sets in and a whole lot of things are craving your attention, just remember that you must be still to Know He is God in your life issues. Remember that you experience green pastures when you lie down!
