BEWARE OF THE DEVIL'S DECEPTION
BIBLE PASSAGE: Revelation 20: 1-4
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

THE MESSAGE
We live in this world with an enemy called the devil. He is always engaging us in both fierce and subtle battles. His test weapons are tricks and deception, he doesn't use force. Some robbers were arrested and asked "why did you rob"? And they said, "it is the devil‘s work? That wasn't true, it was their work. The devil only suggested it and they worked it. He never forced Adam or Eve, he only tricked them out of their blessings. Today we need to be aware of his devices and tricks which he uses to move you away from God's presence into the realm where anything is allowed to happen.
He is NOT in God's class, but he is a spiritual force who works against God in every way he possibly can. The devil is an eternally defeated enemy who is still at work. Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, dealt him a fatal blow. Death and Satan have been defeated, and someday they will both be cast into the lake of fire. Don't give Satan the opportunity to influence you or submit to him. Receive authority today by the blood of Jesus to defeat him in any deception he brings your way.
