For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. Psalms 27:5

Introduction

Our text states that God will hide you in his pavilion in the time of trouble.
If God has to hide
us, it means that there are some kinds of trouble that God cannot allow to touch us
because HE knows we will not be able to handle them especially if we are already
overwhelmed with so many other kinds of trouble. This is the kind of trouble that can
swallow us up, or consume us because it is beyond our capacity. As children, many of us
played hide and seek with our siblings and friends; if we recall it was probably usual for our
older siblings to have the upper hand during the game.
This advantage was due to the fact
that they were older and resultantly able to hide things better. In relation to our text, our
God is ageless, HE is unsearchable, HE has no beginning and no end; therefore, how can
anyone find what GOD hides? When God hides you, no matter the number of people that
gather together to pull you down, they will not be able to find you in Jesus name.
This knowledge is very important especially for people who live in cities where crimes such as
armed robbery, kidnapping and gang wars are widespread but regardless of these
criminal activities, God will hide you. Are you currently having sleepless nights as a result
of a threat made by a family member who has a reputation of being a witch? Fret not
yourself because when God hides us, no hex or spell will be able to find us in Jesus name.
Is there anyone that has threatened to deal with you, boasting to go to any extent, even
promising to take your name to his or her herbalist? Fret not yourself for they will not be
able to find you because God has hidden you.As God hides your children, I declare failure
will not be able find them; as God hides your job, joblessness will not be able to find you
especially in times of recession.
When God hides your business, recession or economic
meltdown will not be able to find it.If we want to live a life void of trouble we need to ask God
to hide us and everything that pertains to our lives, including our spouse, children, jobs,
business etc.
We therefore need to ask God to hide us and everything that pertains to our lives in Jesus name.

Prayer

Father, I ask that YOU hide me from trouble in Jesus name. Father I ask that YOU hide my
children from failure, accidents and evildoers in Jesus name. Father, I ask that YOU hide
my family members from accidents and evil incidents in Jesus name. Father, I ask that
YOU hide my job and business from economic meltdown and recession in Jesus name.
