UNFORGIVENESS HINDERS PRAYERS
Hello again everyone! Beautiful morning to all my wonderful friends and fellow stemians. Have a beautiful day ahead.
God’s Word reveals what is necessary for effective prayer and these verses point to the key of forgiveness. Jesus tells us to forgive because unforgiveness will hinder our prayers. Check yourself to see if your prayers focus on your interest or God's. Let go of hurts, abandon grudges, and forgive others. By walking in unforgiveness, we're not walking in love as God has commanded.
Bitterness and unforgiveness block the flow of God's blessing in your life and actually hinder your prayers.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Even when Jesus was teaching His disciples how to pray, Their is a line that says .....Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us this shows that we can't receive forgiveness if we don't forgive others. ... Thanks @fherdz God bless you

Victoria Osteen shouldn't be quoted about anything. Unless it's the fact that she has a private jet funded by their "ministry".
It's reasonable to think that any sin can hinder our prayers but the Bible only mentions this:
(1 Peter 3:7 NIV) Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
