RELY ON GOD DESPITE YOUR ABILITY

Bible passage: Exodus 17:8-15
in the course of the battle, when Moses lifted up his hand, Joshua prevailed and when he let down his hands due to the fact that is hands were heavy, the Amalekites prevailed. this text confirms that the secret if winning life battle is to climb the mountain of prayer regardless of your ability, skills or competencies. we must all come to the realization that regardless of our preparedness for life battles and no matter how many victories we have under our belt, we still need to go to the top of the mountain which is prayer. The bible state in Zac 4:6b "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit" which mean that we constantly have to rely on God rather than our abilities, competencies or connections. Despite the fact that Joshua was strong in battle, it was when moses lift up his hand from the mountain that Joshua won but as soon as he let his hands down Joshua lost the battle. we need to ask God for the grace to continually seek HIS FACE and not rely on the arm of flesh no matter how many victories we have under our belt.
