If you're still here, today we are talking about what is core to the Christian faith, and what does it mean to be a follower of Christ. The bible says we are go forth and make disciples, but what is a disciple, and what is the heart of the heart of Christianity?
The Gospel of Christ: The Heart of the Heart
Jesus, Son of God, was incarnated as man, lived a perfect life, died a terrible death to pay a debt that humanity had incurred with our sin.
Today we are talking about focusing on that claim, the Gospel of Christ, and steering clear of important but secondary issues of doctrine that can distract and divide.
Today I wanted to voice my opinion that assessing Christianity requires a thoughtful review of Christ's claim to divinity and what that looks like in my opinion.
