Are our convictions contagious?

One real roughie that manifests in almost all areas of our lives is inconsistency, saying One thing and doing the exact opposite. There's inherent danger in this, especially in the lives of the kids who are watching.
We should remember that kids duplicate readily the negatives while finding it more difficult to reproduce the positives. So before you act, make sure you have this IN mind.
If you want your convictions to infect your kids, say what you mean and mean what you say, be honest with them when you make mistakes. Be your children's role model. Live consistently.
