There are some bad act performed by Christians today and they say it's the work of the devil or an evil spirit is troubling them, but in the real sense it's not devil or evil spirit but their flesh in action (carnal lust).

Let's check James 4:1-3
1WHAT LEADS to strife (discord and feuds) and how do conflicts (quarrels and fightings) originate among you? Do they not arise from your sensual desires that are ever warring in your bodily members?

2You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask. [I John 3:15.]

3[Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures.

James was asking christians how wars and fighting enters their midst? He didn't say the devil caused it but he said 'sensual desires 'kjv called it 'lust'. And this lust does not just come, it comes from the mind, let me explain :

When we got born again, our inner man or spirit become recreated (if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature 2cor5:17)but our body, our temperament, our emotions, how we understand things, our love for things didn't change.For example, if you were fat before you got born again, you will still be fat afterward,if you have high libido before you got born again, you will still have it afterwards. Therefore, been born again only affect our inner man or our spirit. According to the scripture man has components, I. e spirit, soul and body (1Thes5:23).
