My Cindicator results

This was a decently successful month of Cindicator predictions in the month of October sitting in in the top 200 for the Crypto markets and the top 300 for the Traditional markets. In the middle of the month, I did a switch of tactics for the Binary questions to a 100/0 answer (so basically staking everything on a positive or negative outcome) rather than hedging my answer. It appears to have borne fruit with a good chunk of points coming in from the end of the month, but it is a much more risky play as I also stand to lose much much more for incorrect predictions. Ahhhh... the folly of overconfidence! ... but so far, it's been good.

For the ranking of cryptos by performance, I've been aiming more for name recognition rather than any serious fundamentals or anything like that. It's pretty sad, but it seems to be the way at the moment. People are going for names rather than technology or application or anything solid like that. Something that seems familiar from the past bubbles????

In the Traditional markets, I'm still pretty much aiming at the range questions to make up the bulk of points. I just don't know enough about the regular markets to meaningfully answer the larger economic (jobs figures) questions or the performance of a particular company stock with anything more than a gut feeling. So, mostly the Oil, USD/EURO and USD/Pound questions are bringing in a steady supply of points.

CND tokens

I was a bit dubious about the switch from the ETH rewards to CND tokens as I was expecting a huge dump in tokens after each payout period, but it doesn't seem to have been the case. In fact, CND seems to have risen in value since the last month, so I will take the opportunity to offload some of my reward this time.

I had a look into the actual Cindicator product offering on Telegram, and it really isn't useful for me. So, I'm not sure that the tokens hold that much value for an analyst like me. Perhaps it is much more useful for a day trader or a high volume trader, but I just don't have the liquidity to act meaningfully on the predictions that come out of the bot!

Well, after the end of the first week of October, I'm sitting pretty in the crypto section with a top 25 ranking! I'm not sure that I can hold out for the rest of the month, but it is nice to be in that position for the meantime!

However, I did tank a string of questions in the Traditional markets, so I'm sitting around the 400 mark. Still positive at least....

Keep Your Crypto Holdings Safe with Ledger

Ledger is one of the leading providers of hardware wallets with the Ledger Nano S being one of the most popular choices for protecting your crypto currencies. Leaving your holdings on a crypto exchange means that you don’t actually own the digital assets, instead you are given an IOU that may or may not be honoured when you call upon it. Software and web based wallets have their weakness in your own personal online security, with your private keys being vulnerable in transit or whilst being stored upon your computer. Paper wallets are incredibly tiresome and still vulnerable to digital attacks (in transit) and are also open to real world attacks (such as theft/photography).

Supporting a wide range of top tokens and coins, the Ledger hardware wallet ensures that your private keys are secure and not exposed to either real world or digital actors. Finding a happy medium of security and usability, Ledger is the leading company in providing safe and secure access to your tokenised future!
