Life in Lake Havasu: Where's that confounded Bridge!

Large Cascading mountain tops, hills, and a beautiful view of the lake reflecting against the afternoon Sun, these are things one thinks of when they hear the name Lake Havasu

A small town nestled between Las Vegas and Bullhead city, with a population of roughly 52,000, . We are inside of what is referred to as the tri-state area. There are 3 major cities surrounding the mohave desert, they are bullhead, laughlin, and Lake Havasu City

Ever heard the song "London bridge is falling down"? Well I got news for you, it fell down a long timeago...or rather was purchased by the founder of Lake Havasu City Robert P. McCulloch taken down, Piece by piece, and shipped over to the US.

Originally the London bridge was built in the 1830s and spanned the River Thames in London, England. It was dismantled in 1967 after the infrastructure issues starting deteriorating the integrity of the bridge.
Then, the McCulloch Oil Corporation of Los Angeles in 1964 On April 15 purchased the bridge for £1,029,000 ($1,26,2006.76) at Guildhall in London from Ivan Luckin.

Construction on the Bridge began in 1967, and was completed in 1971., and has been pulling tour bus after tour bus ever since. Now nestled just below the bridge is a cute little shopping center known as the "English Village". It's where all of the snow birds from the northeast come during the winter months to relax and catch up.

The bridge connects the city to a nearby island, where you can find some lovely fishing locales and some high end resorts such as the
Nauticle inn beachfront resort and the Martini Bay
