During coming Easter holidays, the church is the central place where people around the world remind the events of the crucifiction and resurrection of Christ. But churches are not just a symbol of Christianity and faith. They are also breathtaking architectural pieces of work that represent cultural wealth and top-class artworks.
Regardless of whether you are a believer or an atheist, I want to show you the most beautiful churches I´ve been to.

St.Elizabeth cathedral, Slovakia

The first one, I want to mention is a church in my city - Košice :) It´s St.Elizabeth´s church. It´s Slovakia largest church and one of the most beautiful church in Slovakia. St. Elizabeth´s cathedral is a heart and center of Košice and stands on Hlavná street. It really worth to see this monument church at least from outside.

Mont Saint-Michel, France

This church was build by Aubert, Bishop of Avranches. Visitors can visit the isolated town and hike to the top of the island for incredible views. This whole place has breathtaking architecture you must see when you come to France one day.

Chapelle Notre-Dame, Paris

Notre-Dame cathedral is visited daily by several thousand visitors from all over the world. Everyone must see the cathedral when visitin Paris. It´s classic French Gothic architecture. The church is located on Île de la Cité.

St.Vitus Cathedral, Prague

A gorgeous cathedral with Gothic elements that will enchant you with its majestic. So if you love gothic and sacral monuments, I recommend. You can also go inside and see the interior, especially the colors of the stained glass windows.

Sanktuarium Najswietszej Rodziny w Zakopanem, Poland

Church of the Holy family is located on the main street - Krupowki street. Worth going in and taking a look.
