Babak castle

Babak castle or fortress, built on top of a 2300 meter high mountain, about 3 kilometers from the city of Kalibar. The castle was built at the time of the Sassanid dynasty, but it was named after Babak Khoramdin, the leader of the fighters with the Arab caliphs in 893 AD.

Before passing to the gate of the fort, we pass the passage, this passage is like a hallway, and it has only one person pass and two people can barely pass through it. The passage is at a distance of two hundred meters from the gate of the castle and in front of it. The coming of each newcomer to the troops, etc., was aware of the mountain boats in the two-way towers of the gate. The position of the mountain peaks is high, and therefore they have full control over everything and everyone. These towers are one cone and the other is a circular and cylindrical shaft of solid stones. The barrows, made of a kind of rock, are closing down all the mountain gorges. To penetrate into the building, you must surely pass through the gate and there is no way out of the mountain to get in.
