If Ye Love Me - Thomas Tallis (Organ solo)
Today, many churches would have programmed Tallis' stunning choral work If Ye Love Me as it's highly relevant to the Sunday Gospel reading. This four part motet was recently sung at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle (2018).
Here I'm playing an organ arrangement of the choral work by Aubrey Tucker. Organists might like to play the organ solo version if they don't have a choir. The arrangement is faithful to the original and has registration suggestions. Choice of stops are generally up to the organist's good taste, but I felt Aubrey's suggestion of 8' Flute and 8' + 4' Flutes seemed minimalistic and approrpriate.
