"Supply & Demand: Songs By Brecht, Weill & Eisler" (released in 1986) is the name of the first studio album produced by the German singer, Dagmar Krause. Krause is best known for having participated in cutting edge bands such as Slapp Happy, Henry Cow and Art Bears where her vocal register is clearly identifiable at first listen. As for "Supply ..." it is an album composed of 16 songs belonging to the German composers Kurt Weill and Hanns Eisler with lyrics by Bertolt Brecht and sung in English by Dagmar. Regarding the musical style of the work, this is a beautiful mixture of opera, contemporary classical music, avant-garde, jazz and Vaudeville music ... clearly this album is a work of art! .. =)
