Climate change Middle East countries

in #climate3 years ago

In 2016, the World Bank issued a report indicating that the Middle East and North Africa region is at risk due to climate change, and the level of water bodies is likely to rise by 0.5 meters by 2099,

which in turn will negatively affect low-lying coastal areas in some Arab countries,

including: Tunisia Qatar, Libya, Kuwait, the Emirates, and in particular Egypt.

It does not stop when important cities are inundated,

but climate change will affect the economies of Middle Eastern countries as well if the trend of climate change continues for the worse.
