Hello Everyone Steemians,

Welcome back,

Few days back, I was discussing #Indian #Festivals with my Art students age group (12+).

India gives a #Diversified Experience to its Visitors , Tourist and as well as it's own Residents. Every Festivals is being celebrated here. As there are almost people of every type of Religion and Culture in #India.

So we can definitely say every week of the Year is celebrated by one or another Community in India as a #Festival.

Keeping this in Mind my Students made a Combined Poster of some of the top Festivals of India.
Please take a look::

Starting from the Top most Left:
You can see a Born Fire Image that Indicates,

The Lohri Festival::
The festival of Lohri holds great significance as it marks the harvest of the rabi crops and the end of winter days. The people worship the sun and the fire and thank them for the good harvest. The day is observed by all communities with different names.
It generally celebrated around 13-15 January every year.

On the Right of Born Fire Image ( top left), you can see a Bucket, with some colours around it, This festival is known as
The Holi Festival:.
Holi (Hindi pronunciation: ['hoːli:]) is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna.Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu.Holi originated and is predominantly celebrated in the Indian subcontinent, but has also spread to other regions of Asia and parts of the Western world through the Indian diaspora.

On the Right side of the Poster, you can see a Picture of a Lady with a Strong Look along with a Hot Earthy Bowl.This image describes,

The Navratri Puja Festival of Goddess Durga:
Navratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in honour of the goddess Durga, an aspect of Adi Parashakti, the supreme goddess. It spans over nine nights (and ten days), first in the month of Chaitra (March/April of the Gregorian calendar), and again in the month of Ashvin (September–October). It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere.Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratri. However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharada Navaratri.

In the centre of the Poster, you can see an Earthenware Lamp 🪔. This is the symbol of one of the biggest Festival of India
Deepawali:
Diwali or Deepawali,is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions.It symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".Diwali is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar months of Ashvin (according to the amanta tradition) and Kartika—between around mid-September and mid-November.The celebrations generally last five or six days. It is Festival of Welcoming back Lord #Rama with his wife Goddess #Sita and Brother Lord #Laxman along with Lord #Hanuman along with other devotees back to his Kingdom Ayodhya( India).

Moving Further,

On the downwards left you can see Santa Claus and Christmas Tree which symbolises

The Christmas Festival::
#Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world. A feast central to the liturgical year in Christianity, it follows the season of Advent (which begins four Sundays before) or the Nativity Fast, and initiates the season of Christmastide, which historically in the West lasts twelve days and culminates on Twelfth Night.Christmas Day is a public holiday in many countries and is celebrated religiously by a majority of Christians, as well as culturally by many non-Christians and forms an integral part of the holiday season surrounding it leading to New Year Celebrations too

On the Down right side you can also see one more Festival Image,
The #Eid::
Eid al-Fitr , Holiday of Breaking the Fast, is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam (the other being Eid al-Adha). While the Qur'an does not mention the celebration of Eid, the religious holiday of Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of #Ramadan. Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal in the Islamic calendar; this does not always fall on the same Gregorian day, as the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities. The holiday is known under various other names in different languages and countries around the world. The day is also called Lesser Eid, or simply Eid.
