Tonight the Manawatu Jets hosted the Hawkes Bay Hawks @ Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North, what a game as the home team Jets win 90 -87!

The Jets lead by as much as 15 midway through the 3rd quarter only to squander the lead and allow the Hawks back in it.

Robert Crawford lead the Jets with 25 PTS, John Bohannon had 11 PTS, 15 REB, 5 AST, 6 BLK with most of those blocks coming in the 4th qtr

We also had a competition where you fill out a form and go into the draw for a chance at winning 10K NZD, you just have to make a shot from half court. The lady that got picked was clearly not a basketball player and failed

I really thought i was going to get picked and drain the half court shot lol, there is always the next game were i could do that :)

This win tonight now puts the Jets in a three way tie for 6th place with their 5th win, The finals this year is a top 6 so we are sniffing around a playoff spot.

Our next home game is in Otaki next Thursday night which will be about a 70 minute drive, i cant wait to see if we can beat the Franklin Bulls in that one.
