I feel like I went here as a kid but I can't fully remember. I did have family in Rotorua though so it seems highly likely.
I visited Rotorua as a kid too, some of the attractions have changed so it's worth going again. I think Rotorua is a great place for retirement. Very quiet town that is relatively convenient.
