“波士顿环球报”发起一项行动，要串联全美报纸社论，回应特朗普对媒体的经常性抨击，号召大家在8月16日的社论中一致谴责特朗普，“对自由媒体发动的肮脏战争”。截止今日，响应者已有70家之多。美国的媒体算是与特朗普死磕到底了。
