图文巴花车游行 Toowoomba floral parade

还记得我们之前玩的看美景猜地点遊戏吗? 那篇文章里的夀乐园位於澳洲昆士兰省，有花园城市之名的图文巴。图文巴刚在九月十五日至二十四日举办第六十八届花卉嘉年华 (Carnival of Flowers)，这是代表昆士兰的150个文化标誌(Q150)之一。这个嘉年华最重要的活动─花车遊行，在九月十六日下午三点举行，我从布里斯本出发，开了一个半小时的车抵达图文巴，花了好一阵子才找到停车位。然後再走了约二十分钟到花车遊行区，现场万人夹道，据说观看人数超过十万人。

I have written about a Japanese Garden located in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia in one of my previous articles. Toowoomba is also known as The Garden City, and this year is the 68th year the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers has been running, which is one of the 150 cultural icons of Queensland. Part of this Carnival is the Grand Central floral parade, which attracted 100,000 people to gather in this city to watch from the streetside. On the 16th of September this year, on Saturday at 3pm, I came here to take some photos and to see the floral parade. As we arrived in Toowoomba, it took a while for us to find a space to park the car. We ended up parking on the street and taking a twenty minute walk to the parade.

我在花车遊行的尾端转弯处找到一个好位子，等了好一阵子才看到花车。看好多人在等啊。
We arrived at our destination near the end of the parade, so we waited for a long time until the parade came to us. Look at how many people there are!

又大又可爱的花兒。Huge and cute flowers .

存钱筒里有装满硬币吗? Would be good if that piggy bank was filled with coins :)

绿野仙踪 Wizard of Oz characters

踩高跷，好厉害。後面还有翅膀。Stilt walkers always amaze me. Such a skill. Love the wings on her back.

竟然还有蝙蝠侠。Fancy seeing some super heroes here.

哈莉奎茵来了，小心点，手上有球棒。Good thing this is not the real Harley Quinn, you don’t know what she would do.

南方昆士兰大学花车是一个大蛋糕，庆祝建校50年和升格为大学25年。University of Southern Queensland’s cake of celebration.

超大的紫花孔雀。A huge purple peacock made of flowers.

卖仙女产品的Fairy Dell. Real life fairies.

又一位踩高跷的美女穿绿色服装。Another beautiful stilt walker in green.

遊行压轴是昆士兰总理帕拉夏女士本人 The Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is at the end of the parade.

最後所有的花车停在公园，让遊客随意拍照。我找到了這匹在遊行裡拍到的駿馬。At the end of the parade, all the vehicles are parked at the oval for people to take photos. I found the horse which I took a picture of previously in the rally.
