中国共产党和其领袖毛泽东走到了延安，是中共的逐渐成熟和毛泽东思想的重要形成期。


党的诞生，国共合作，第一大革命的失败，苏区的十年土地革命，及战略转移，经历了长征到达陕北，使中共从幼稚走向成熟，能比较从容自觉地由自己的力量解决中国的问题。

之后在整个新民主主义革命时期基本没有犯大的错误，较好地顺利地解决了旧中国积蔽积弱的问题，这都是因为前期失败而找到了经验。

世界上任何一场历史运动，必先失败而后胜利。一个人，一个民族，一个国家概莫如此！
