A familiar food to all people in Turkey - the Baklava. Usually I like to have something a bit more substantial for breakfast to fuel me for the day, but travelling in Turkey is difficult and time is of the essence.
In Turkey, the Baklava is a sweet pastry which is made of layers of filo and then sweetened and held together by syrup or honey. It was thought to have been first developed in the Kitchens of topkapi palace of Istanbul.
