I have always desired two things for myself, the first is to be an independent woman and second is to achieve self development through studying and acquiring knowledge via books and other sources I could lay my hands on.

I have never had any negative thoughts or doubts about realizing indepence but I didn't know how to go about starting and sustaining whatever resources that I would get along the process. I knew eventually I would surely get that which I desired for, though I wasn't certain of the timing; but truth was, I had to start from somewhere.
I wanted to boss up and take the responsibility of securing my future and contribute my own quota to make the world a better place.

My desires started to materialize when God brought the first Cryptocurrecy (steem), I ever knew through my cousin sister @maduprecious. I would say steem was the first crypto I came across before getting to know others subsequently.
I was super excited to know steemit because two of my desires of wanting to gain indepence and self development was made possible through one platform. Steemit been an exceptional blockchain which ensures your works are original gets me motivated to study more before putting up a post on my space in order not to get penalized for copying someone else's work. Also, i get paid for my contributions to the community through steem or SBD whose value cannot be gotten in most social media platforms. This has made me value my time the more, helping me achieve greatly.

A BRIEF STORY ON MY FIRST EARNING ON STEEMIT
My first earning came from my first post which was my introductory post which earned me over 39.17 SBD and steem then. I must say that as at the time I cashed out the funds, it was more than my monthly salary. I really felt happy and fulfilled to actually make an extra income decently and was determined to make it a sustainable one.

SECURING MY FUTURE/WEALTH CREATION

Cryptocurrecy is already playing a major role in ensuring a secured future for me. It has made it possible for me to save and invest in things that will be profitable in a long run. Atimes, savings cannot be achieved with just one means of income because the salary might not just be enough to pay for the entire bills. Often a time, we live above our salaries which could land us into incurring debts. But with a backup from Cryptocurrecy, I am able to save and make investments in profitable businesses which will yield positive results now and in the future, thereby ensuring sustainability of wealth now and in the future.
My encounter with crypto has changed my life for good, because, I am able to achieve things which might never be achieved with just earning monthly salaries.
Also, I will proudly say cryptocurrecies to a large extent has guaranteed a debt free life for me.

SELF DEVELOPMENT AND EXPOSURE

The knowledge gotten so far on the steem blockchain cannot be overemphasized. There are great minds on this platform that inspires me on a daily basis. I have been motivated by a lot of people here through their piece of work, style of writing and videos. All these have added value to my life and day to day activity. There are some contents and videos I come across on the blockchain with great messages that if it were to go for a price, I might not have being able to afford them but thanks to steemit who made it possible.

I AM MY OWN BOSS

AN INTERVIEW I WENT FOR SOME MONTHS AGO

Interviewer: Can you work for free in our organization?

Me: No I can't. Even if I am not being paid they exact salary as the rest of they staff, I should be given a stipend to sustain myself at least.

Seriously speaking, most organizations, especially the private owned ones always take advantage of their employees because they have this notion that their company is their last resort and would use them as they wish. I know there is nothing wrong with the above interview question but I would confidently say that people who work in these organizations work almost for free. I was once a marketer for a company which I was given a weekly dead line to get an amount of funds weekly. I could say my salary was peanuts compared to the money I generated for the organization.
Being ones boss and putting your energy to make your money is second to none. I won't ignore the fact of the experiences one can get in the process of working with such organizations but when there is a backup plan like cryptocurrecies, you will be focused in way because you can save up for something better, make investments and add up to what you already have to sustain yourself and maybe, family.

CONNECTION WITH LIKE MINDS

When you meet people of similar goals and interest as you, you get more focused to achieving your desired goals which cryptocurrecies has made it possible for me to meet and interact with them. Surrounding oneself with people of similar interests is great motivation to achieving yours which I can say I have met such here on this platform.

In conclusion, I am happy to be living my dreams and fulfilling purpose. I know I still have so much to achieve, step by step, little by little, I will surely get there and I am grateful that cryptocurrecies is already making them a reality.
