Official daisies (named Leucanthemum vulgare) are field flowers that can be found frequently on pastures and meadows and are part of the Asteraceae family.

About daisies are known to come from northern Africa, but have adapted well to the continental climate in Europe. Today you will find donkeys all over the world in both hemispheres.

About daisies you do not need to say too much. They are perennials with a grassy, high stem, with flowers with petals, placed on a single row and with a single flower, at the top. Although not fragrant, even morsky, the daisies are visited by bees and butterflies. 20-100 cm, glabra or hairy, simple, ending with a single inflorescence. The intense green leaves also make the most beautiful white flower with the yellow yellow, in the middle.

Planted in the garden, daisies need a lot of sunshine, although it is a plant that lasts well in the cold spring nights but does not bear any shade. Without sun, the flowers either do not grow or be deformed. In the absence of intense sunlight the daisy does not bloom, and excessive moisture leads to the premature aging of the plant and the attack of mycotic diseases.

Plants need very well drained soil. You can sow them in a sandy area or even with poor rocky soil because the daisy grows only in the soil that does not retain water.

It needs nutrients, so in the garden it will have to be intensely fertilized during the formation of the bobs, ideally being a fertilizer rich in potassium and phosphorus.
