Wednesday Yellow: Everglades Sands Solitary Flower
On my last annual tradition camping and fishing trip deep into the Florida Everglades I came across this single flower stretching far from the sandy soil below. The area we usually camp is mostly just sand with a bit of brush surrounding the many deep lakes we fish that were once part of a phosphate mining operation.
I found this little rebel while walking from our campsite over to one of the better spots to fish from. When we travel down there, we need to make sure we are extremely physically fit because it is a very harsh environment and we could easily get stranded several miles from any kind of help. So to ready ourselves, we make sure to have some sick six packs...just check out mine!

lol..we definitely rolled the cooler over there to keep fish, or was it for cold beer? I guess we'll never know..
That belt was a gag gift from a friend last year, those would've gotten warm real quick down there in the Sun. Now a beer belt that keeps them cool...can anyone say Shark Tank?
