This is a color challenge and your challenge is to find the color of the day. The blue dasher is just right there. :)
During my childhood days in the province, I used to catch them literally. It was an achievement and pride among us playmates to catch live dragonflies. We would even compete on catching as many as we can. Though, the poor creatures would end up either without wings or with broken tail.
As I grew up I realized the importance of letting other creatures be. Freedom is everything. So now I just catch them on camera.
