Color Challenge -- Sunday Purple

Thanks to @kalemandra for starting this permanent color challenge.

Here is my entry for Sunday purple.

I thought nothing could outdo the beauty and splendor of summer at the arboretum, but looking back at these pictures, early autumn is contending to be my favorite season there.

Below are stills I took on my computer from video footage of the monarch I took with my cell phone camera. So the image quality may be low, but the footage, the way the monarch didn't mind posing for the camera, was just so fun to witness.
