📷ColorChallenge: Sunday Purple
Gooooood Morning guys, girls and all the critters of the world ☀️
My entery for today's #colorchallenge is the blossoming Jacaranda Mimosifolia in my house's garden.
It usualy reaches a height of 15 meters and blooms in the spring, at May - June.
Some interesting fact about the Jacaranda tree:
Pretoria in South Africa is popularly known as The Jacaranda City due to the enormous number of jacaranda trees planted as street trees and in parks and gardens.
In flowering time the city appears blue/purple in colour when seen from the nearby hills because of all the jacaranda trees.

I love those trees. Your photos make me miss the Motherland a bit, which is something that doesn't happen often.
You just need to watch the news here for like 2 minutes and I promise you'll remember immediatly why it doesn't happen often..
