Color Challenge: Sunday Purple
Bruises fascinate me, especially from massage. The reason is that they are a product of moving deeper into pain in order to release pain. These bruises are the result of yesterday’s deep tissue massage. I had areas of scar tissue that were broken up and tendons that needed to shift. The colors are rapidly changing, but today they are appropriately purple (coordinating nicely with my phone case).

Funny - I was just talking to my eldest about massage bruises last night (she'd just discovered they were a thing because it happened to a friend). Our bodies are so amazing!

Ouch but that bruise looks kind of painful don’t you think?
It absolutely hurts, but is actually less painful than the out of place tendon was. It’s a colorful improvement?
