A lot of attention was attracted by the route «Leningrad-Petersburg». St. Petersburg was renamed Petrograd at the beginning of the First World War, in1914. The city was renamed Leningrad in 1924. The historical name was returned in 1991. I remember how the radio announcers learned to pronounce the name of the city: they made a special pause to avoid making a mistake.
