Color Challenge - Red Monday - Autumn berries of Viburnum

The red berries of Viburnum (kalyna) are probably one of the most traditional symbols of autumn in Ukraine, along with colored dry leaves. No wonder in ancient times (and sometimes even nowadays) the girls wore their wreaths from the autumn leaves and bright berries of kalyna.

Червоні ягоди калини, мабуть, є одним із найбільш традиційних символів осені в Україні, поряд із різнобарвним сухим листям. Недарма вдавнину (то й подекуди і в наш час) дівчата плели собі вінки саме із осіннього листя та ясравих ягід калини.
