Photocontests Colourful Photography - Bathing Boxes

Here is my entry to #colourfulphotography hosted by @juliank from @photocontests.

The Brighton Beach Bathing boxes can be found at Port Phillip Bay in Victoria, Australia. 82 of these uniquely coloured bathing boxes can be found, all in a row, lining the foreshore at Brighton Beach. They were built well over a century ago, they were a Victorian idea for modest seaside bathing. Today the bathing boxes remain almost unchanged with their classic Victorian architectural features with timber framing, weatherboards and corrugated roofs.

Each box is individually decorated and it is for this reason they have turned the Brighton seaside into an recognisable, iconic beachscape that attracts visitors from all around the globe.
