Batman speeding through the night, fighting exhaustion, he hears the reports of his next challenge.
Static Victor Zsasz located at the All Girls School Static
He steps on the gas to save the women. No sleep tonight for Gotham’s Dark Knight. One thing is for sure, Bane is resting up. Sipping pina coladas, waiting for the right moment.
Zsasz is creepier than all hell here! The fact that he continually cuts himself after murdering someone gives me the heebie-jeebies. See the woman on the right with a scowl?
Police sneak as many as they can out the back. Some women are left unaccounted for leaving some officers thinking the worst. No word from their man inside. So, Lieutenant Kitch orders a second man in. It’s not long before he comes up on his fellow officer… and Victor. He makes a second cut on his arm now.
The women trapped in the school still are terrified and fear death, except one. Ms. Scowl. She tries to have them rally together. This is when Zsasz takes the other two officers bodies and throws them out on the cops from an upstairs window. He then goes back to the library to start keeping his promises...
Kicked right in the gut. Ufff indeed. Officer Montoya steps in, gun out, telling Zsasz to take her instead when…
This creates quite the dialog where Victor is convinced Batman and himself are the same. The Dark Knight’s mind is so fatigued he struggles to get a grip. Montoya breaks free giving Victor a chance to escape. Batman goes chasing after him only to lose him.
Surprise attack!
As the fight goes on though our hero begins to unravel. Beating Victor mercilessly… Who's next?
JQ Review
This being only the 3rd villain after the asylum breakout, Batman’s mental state is going. He’s moving slower out of tiredness. People are getting hurt or worse. He can’t even go up against Bane now let alone later. How is he going to overcome him…
