DC COMIC CHARACTERS #1: "SHAZAM"

Hello steemians, there will be a continuous post on some DC superhero characters, "SHAZAM" being the first on the list. This character is really awesome cause of his power and other mind blowing features. Well lets go into details.
ORIGIN OF THE CHARACTER "SHAZAM"
Our character "SHAZAM" also known as "CAPTAIN MARVEL"(first name given to the character).He is a fictional superhero in American comic books published by DC comics. Artist C. C. Beck and writer Bill Parker created this character in 1939 which firstly appeared on Whiz comics #2 published by Fawcett Comics in 1940 and outselling Superman
Due to copyright infringement suit from DC comics alleging that Captain Marvel was a copy of superman, Fawcett ceased the publishing of Captain Marvel(Shazam).
So between 1972-1991,DC had licensed the Marvel Family Character(Captain Marvel,Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel jr.),acquired all rights to the character and returned them to publication.
The name "SHAZAM" came in due to trademark conflicts over another character named "CAPTAIN MARVEL" owned by the Marvel comics. So the character was branded using the name SHAZAM! Since its reintroduction in 1972 and battles archenemies such as Black Adam and Dr. Sivana.
SHAZAM (FEATURES)
SHAZAM like i said earlier is a superhero in the DC Comics. He is the protector of Fawcett city. In his secret identity,he is William Joseph "Billy" Batson,a young boy who was chosen to be a champion of good by the Wizard "Shazam". Whenever Billy speaks the wizards name(magic word "SHAZAM"),he is struck by a magic thunderbolt that transforms him into an adult superhero empowered with the abilities of six legendary figure(SHAZAM being the acronym of six " immortal elders": Solomon,Hercules,Atlas,Zeus,Achilles and Mercury).

He has magically bestowed powers such as
*Super strength,speed,near-invulnerability and longevity
*Flight
*Spell casting
*Knowledge and focus of the gods
*Teleportation via the Rock of Eternity.
*Control over and emission of magical lightning.
Shazam has always been compared to Superman,concerning the level of abilities.
