Okay mofo’s....let’s see what’s in stores this week...

It’s a decent sized week full of a bunch of regular mainstays from the big 2!

Marvel has mainstays such as Avengers, Amazing Spider-Man, Punisher, & Thor being released. Conan is back with a SECOND title...for no reason at all in Savage Sword of Conan. The always funny Spider-Man/Deadpool also graces us with its presence. Marvel has a themed variant initiative coming through their titles this months as well that deals with the Skrulls. Some are kinda funny but I don’t see them as spec worthy. I think they are pushing them as they have some involvement in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie. Speaking of...a new issue of that is out as well!!!

DC’s gearing up to the big milestone of Detective Comics #1000...only a few more to go!!! Big book this week for DC is probably Batman Man Who Laughs #3. Flash, Titans, Red Hood & the Outlaws are also in as well as the always fun and spooky Scooby Doo Apocalypse. Make sure to grab the beautiful Wonder Woman variant by Artgerm. Stunning cover.

Independent titles include new issues of Adventure Time, Oblivion Song, Betty Page, Dick Tracy, Rat Queens, Vampirella, and more!!! There’s some buzz (not sure exactly why) aground Antarctic Press’s new release...Exciting Comics as well. Might be worth snagging a copy to flip quickly.

One that is recommended is the “replacement” copies of Spawn #293 B&W. This is the corrected version of the error copy from a few weeks back. Spawn has a strong following and back issues end up always fetching a nice chunk of change. I would put one away for a rainy day down the road. Come back to this post in a couple years...wouldn’t be surprised to see both the error and corrected versions fetch $30 plus each. Not too shabby for a $2.99 investment.

Okay peeps...onto the random crap!!! The thing that I like the most this week is the Nightwing & Batgirl statue from DC Collectibles. It can be displayed on the base or hung so it looks like the second pic below. It has a hook already set for easy hanging!!!

Luckily they gave us a breather on the Funko department as we only got a few stragglers in. A smattering of Dragonball Z figs...our week wouldn’t be complete with em. An affordable Batwoman busy at I believe $25 bucks!!! Loving the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man fig as well!!! Peep em below!
