This week in the world of Marvel Comics, the big news is the four thousand different covers for War of Realms...none of which are very good in my honest opinion. The Campbell one of Hela is nice, but it’s pretty lazy if ya ask me. Still worth picking up a copy...just choose whichever one looks prettiest I guess.
Lots of regular titles in the MU to throw your hard earned money at though. Spider-Gwen, Punisher, Deadpool, Captain America, and the super hot Immortal Hulk are all in action this week. Star Wars has 2 different books out and smack on one of those .1’s of Amazing Spider-Man...and ya got yourself a week!
DC has a much smaller week...thank god...after the Tec 1000 madness from last week. Deathstroke has a pretty Mattina variant, Harley Quinn with a stunning Cho variant, Justice League with a fancy Jae Lee variant...oh and Female Furies & Green Lantern are also here.
There are a bunch of random Indy titles...the main one being Walking Dead. There’s also a Ghostbusters one shot, Paper Girls, Marvel Action Hour Black Panther, and a slew of those .99 cent and $1.50 books from Alternate Comics.
For my Magic the Gathering peeps such as @slobberchops, @vermillionfox, and @kommienezuspadt, perhaps a pickup of the Magic the Gathering: Chandra #2?!? Not sure how good these are but might be worth a looksie! I know a few of the older MTG comics came with a card...one of em actually fetches some decent money. Any of you guys have those?

As for the miscellaneous nonsense, it’s quite a tiny week. A few Dragonball figures, a couple of Funko Pops, some Batman & Superman Injustice figures, and no statues make this a cheap one. Oh...maybe pick up one of the 2 new kickass puzzles we got in of The Umbrella Academy or Hellboy. Challenge your feeble brain!!!

I was never a collector of comics, but the old books I had... once. Arena was the first one (the card) and there were some other books that contained a card too. It's so long ago, I cant remember (94/'95).
I know this one fetches some nice coin. Not sure how useful that card is but it went from a 4 dollar book to about 50 due to that specific card.
The card is as common as they come but these collectors are a bit nuts, as you well know. The artwork is probably different and that does it.
Ahhhh. Gotcha. Yeah, we deal with that madness in the comic world as well. Different art can translate to $$$$
