Let’s start today with DC. We are now a few weeks into the cardstock covers and I haven’t heard customers complain about the extra buck. It seems they like the nicer covers so it’s not a big deal in the wallets.
Anywho...it’s one of those dumb weeks where DC messed up and shipped both Batman & Detective Comics in the same week. Hate that. Wonder Woman has a pretty Frison cover but what else is new. The master Adam Hughes has a beautiful Wonder Woman close up on this week’s Supes. Artgerm Catwoman...you know the drill by now.
Marvel has a few biggies in Amazing Spider-Man, Venom, Avengers, and...uhhhh...Ironheart. Yeah...Ironheart.
Black Cat releases its second issue and be on the lookout for the “Carnigized” logo variants if ya come across one. Hughes also lent his talents for a beautiful Invisible Woman cover. Be sure to snag one. That’s the thumbnail photo in this piece.
Indy books...without Walking Dead...does it even matter?!? Just kidding...there’s plenty of delicious shit to sink yer teeth into. Reaver is a new Image series worth taking a peek at.
Speaking of Image, they also drop new issues of Oblivion Song and Outer Darkness as well. Betty Page makes an appearance along with a pretty cool Black Hammer/Justice League crossover.

In the area of randomness that is not Comics, it’s a relatively tame week. A kickass Venom statue from Koto hits, a new Mattel DC Multiverse figure wave, some pins, a puzzle...it’s fairly low key which is nice every now and then. Take a peek...

Wow. What an amazing post, keep up the good work and keep us updated! It is easier to shop in local stores for nerdy stuff when there are local shops to shop in. Not everyone has that advantage.
