Communication is vital. It set the tone for how well you can understand each other. A lot of people speak but they don’t communicate and with communication comes understanding. Don’t import the extra baggage you had in your past relationship into your current one. A lot of people come into marriage with a load of baggage and dump them on their spouse. They make their spouse pay for what he or she didn’t cause and lack of communication is a key factor in this.
Communicate your feelings. Communicate how you desire to be loved. Seek to find a common ground when you both communicate. When you communicate, then sex would flow easily (for the married…rated “Married” hahaha). When you communicate effectively, then you won’t have issues seeking common ground and reaching a reasonable understanding when it comes to financing. Let’s not kid ourselves, sex, finance; money and communication is vital and proper handling of these key issues has crashed a lot of marriage.
When you have a proper understanding which comes from effective communication, you can handle; as a guy, if your wife earns more than you and she can handle it better without making the guy feel like a failure too, because they will know they are both working for the common goal; happiness in their home.
Never go into marriage when you are not ready and prepare your mind for life of sacrifice too. It can’t always be about what you want, but it has to be what is best for your family. If everyone keeps doing what they feel they want, I don’t think there would be a need for people staying married, because even singles do what they want. Two should be better than one. You achieve things faster when you are able to communicate effectively. You both see things you were not seeing before and you both learn better ways of doing or handling things.
Never let anyone pressure you into it. It is not a show-off or a popularity contest. Be sure you are ready before you go into it.
