Live for the hustle

Oh no... a quiet week? Not to fear, there has been a reason behind it. Most of you will be used to big changes in the server week after week and last week was particularly quiet compared to; usual. That has been because of a new project that myself @penderis and @wolv have been working on in the background.

Time for complete transparency.

We're going to be sharing exactly what we've been up too and what our next plan is for the BuddyUP server. We have some ideas about how we can give you guys more value sooner. Keep reading on to find out the details!

Stick by your principles

Let's get right too it then! The side project I was talking about is @themonstertrader. Steem Monsters have swept the blockchain by storm and myself, pen and world decided to get on our hustle and seize the opportunity to make something within the Steem Monsters universe.

We have plans to further advance our character and we would love to find artists and writers down the line to help us make this possible.

"Why have our payouts dropped calumam?"

This would be because I've withdrawn the funds from our bidbot pot. We are now using a 'nobidbot' tag alongside other community tags which we support and are involved with. The funds were taken out from the pot so we can invest heavier in the beginning stages of this project. We will be aiming to top these back up in time, but, for the time being, we will be going it without them and looking into other avenues for powering up the SP on a consistent basis.

If anyone has any problems with our decision or they are having second thoughts, please drop me a message on Discord so I can send you some transaction memos from the blockchain and so we can discuss things further.

Add more value

Future plans! We've been considering how much value people are able to get from the BuddyUP server and the one thing we found was that a lot of you would benefit massively from the post-link (self-promotion) channel earlier on.

We are looking to introduce this channel into the Neon Tetra role at some point next week so our members can start sharing what they've been working on sooner. The plan is to bring post-link down and remove post-mark. We aren't finding any use in this channel and although it's a good idea, it's not practical.

"So what is unlocked at the Guppy rank?"

There is going to be a brand new curation orientated channel introduced. We've realized that some people enjoy writing, others enjoy curating. With the introduction of this channel, we will be preparing to reintroduce the Finder Frogs and giving them a dedicated curators hangout so they can discuss the promising talent within the community. We will also bring in curators from other teams.
