I tried to approach the guy with respect a few weeks ago....Had a good conversation with him.
Then today I wake up to a nice big downvote from him LOL
Not only did he wipe all my SBI upvote (50 cents) he also dove into the rewards from outside of SBI....He sure taught me a lesson.
I've put my life savings, 2 years of my life and EVERY ounce of effort I can into this blockchain.....Just to be shown a nice downvote courtesy of HF21.
Stupidity.
If Steem is ever going to grow, these moronic downvotes need to stop. Keep them for spam and abuse, not from encouraging my community to engage with me on my blog every day.
I've heard others have tried to talk to him and reason with him. He will have no part of it. It's like he doesn't want the truth to get in the way of his butt hurt bullyself.
This is the sort of thing I was afraid would happen with the free DVs and more so with people being encouraged to DV regularly. It empowers this sort of bully behaviour.
I think downvotes are a really good idea on paper, when used to protect from spam and abuse....but when they get to be 'free' and used like this...It does nothing to benefit this blockchain.
In fact, like @whatsup mentioned above, actually turns companies away from Steem and investment. It'll be tough for me to leave this place and have no intention to. But I can see how businesses would just want nothing to do with it.

You should remember that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of accounts with higher stake than mine. When they decide that vote buying aka sponsoring is good for blockchain then they will destroy my account with few clicks
don't mistake them not bothering to attack you as them agreeing with your twisted and ill-informed vendetta ... I've talked to several of the larger stakeholders.. there is only one of them who agreed you have a point. The others see value in the SBI program for contributing to retaining active members. Something you are trying to destroy.
It's much easier to keep an active member than get a new one established. You are contributing to driving people away.
One can only assume that your penis is so small and has been rejected and laughed at so much that you now take your sexual frustration out on SBI. Go and get a magnifying glass, tweezers and pepper and try give your penis some relief it might make you feel better about life and everything in general.

I'm asking from experience. I was attacked by someone with a much higher stake than me not once, but now three times. Did you three manage to destroy my account already?

And another thing. If they are on your side, wouldn't you think they'd be cheering you on and joining your crusade?
He baselessly claims it is a "ponzi scheme" which just shows that either he doesn't understand how it works or (more likely) he just doesn't understand what a ponzi scheme even is! And the blatant hypocrisy in him trying to fight "vote selling" when that is exactly what he did with his bidbot! As as bidbot owner with over a dozen alt accounts he is in no place to judge what is right or wrong here on Steem. Now he is mad that his scam has ended. So like an upset child, he has decided to take out his anger (caused only by his own failures) on other innocent people. Making him nothing more than a big bully!

SBI is an initiative that has done nothing but help promote onboarding and community building here on the Steem blockchain. Let us not turn our back on it out of fear for getting downvoted. Instead lets stand up for this great initiative that has helped so many people and helped the Steem community to grow and thrive!
you know it's great that you are trying to push back on the bullying behaviour BUT do you realize that your spam comments on people's posts is not gaining you support?
I already reported him to @steemcleaners but they didn't take any action

I support you if you were to go on the crusade of getting rid of spammers, plagiarizers, and, in general, extremely horrible content which was posted only to make a quick coin.

Man, you don't know me but I was NEVER against bidbots...I used them all the time for advertising purposes and it sucks that they have been looked at as the evil empire here on Steem. I think it was silly the witch hunt that happened....

Yeah, I sponsor my community for engaging with me. Like you mentioned to me on your blog, you arent punishing the people that are receiving the units, just the purchasers of it.
I'll gladly take the heat instead of the people I'm introducing to Steem through my businesses.
And like I mentioned, I think you can find much more productive uses for that nice chunk of Steem Power you have...Bigger issues on the blockchain than SBI, because SBI encourages engagement and activity here on the blockchain.
But not just them, that's the point you're missing. Many new Steemians that need support have them and it encourages them to keep them going. Common @mmmmkkk311 I'm sure you can do way more interesting things than this.
