@Helpie Community - Data Spotlight Post

Helpie is a new and unique educational community within Steemit, designed to help users that are creating quality content grow on the platform

 @llfarms.  

Having been invited by @meno, the founder some time ago, I regularly take part in their chat meetings and I also run the data for their weekly league.  This is an awesome community and worth of a Data spotlight post.

This community has been funded to the tune of 38K SP by delegation of which 15K comes directly from @therealwolf and the aim of this post is to show the reach and effect of this delegation and how the community has an impact on retaining users.

Data Spotlight

 

In total @helpie has voted for 579 distinct authors and has cast 21K votes this year.  The average vote weight used has been 12.26% and based on current rates, the approx. value of a vote given was SBD 13.99.  The total paid out in votes by @helpie this year is SBD 293.6K.

The blue bar chart shows the growth in votes given over the months of 2018 along with the number of distinct authors voted for.  The pink bar chart shows the monthly SBD paid out in votes by @helpie.

So how does this all look in US% - well rather strong taking the exchange rate on the date of vote from coinmarketcap.  So far this year @helpie has distributed US$617.24 worth of rewards to content creators on STEEM.

  

@helpie members also experience improved retention. Looking at accounts set up in 2018 only 9.13% have been active in the last 14 days and the average drop off day is 23.24.

 

With @helpie members that registered on STEEM in 2018, 82% were active in the last 14 days and the average drop of day increases to 114.

 

Conclusion

@helpie is helping a lot of accounts grow and has a fantastic reach and is retaining users.  A big shout out to @meno and all the helpie gang as you are all crushing it.
