You Got A Friend In Me (Quest)

From the previous quest, Goldilocks, you and the King's Message where Steemitbloggers were required to write a report on the thievery of Goldilocks breaking and entering a Briggin's Cottage. The entries were all so amazing that it inspired me to keep the quest going. 'You Got A Friend In Me' is a quest continuation for my Steemitbloggers Family. The story continues...

You are FINALLY on your way to report what you've seen at the Briggin's Cottage... As you scurry away, you find your vision slowly covered by the fog. Your vision is starting to get blurry so you dig for your flashlight in your dufflebag. As you were walking, you accidentally tripped and fell face flat on your face in the middle of a potato field. Talk about being unlucky! You start hearing chants nearing your position.

Ouuu Gahhh Ouuu Gahh Ouuuuu Gahhhh

You quickly stood up but you were too late, you were surrounded by the Uloklok. Uloklok are little grumpy chinchillas who loves their potatoes. They may look cute and innocent, but these little rascals don't like you invading their territory, what more their food farm. They started throwing spears at you but they never hit, so they decided to just tie you up.

You were captured and brought back to their campsite not too far from where u fell. The Ulokloks are grumpier when they're hungry but a full tummy is a happy uloklok. They demand that you read them a Bedtime Story before they go to sleep and because there were uloki (baby uloklok) around, they demand that the bedtime story is filled with pictures too. This could be a problem. You do not have enough time to create a bedtime story because it was already sunset. You could either write a REALLY good story.... or just draw pictures of it. Either way will get you killed for not completing the other half. You need help...

You don't have the time to do both creating the bedtime story and drawing. As you were thinking how to go about pleasing the ulokloks, you hear someone calling you next to your cage....Psst... psstt... over here!~

OH GOOD LORD, it was another Steemitblogger!

You were in luck, you both can now work together to create the perfect bedtime story for the ulokloks. Without wasting a second more, you both began to devise the PERFECT BEDTIME STORY together...

You Got a Friend in Me

Criteria :

1. You must find a Steemitbloggers member to collaborate with.

2. One of you must write, the other draws/illustrate.

3. Illustration/drawing can be of any medium.

4. Both of you must discuss who does the writing and drawing.

5. Minimum 2 illustrations/drawings.

6. Wordcount must not be less than 350 words.

7. Your story/post title is up to you.

8. Write a Bedtime Story.

 

Submission :

1. Your Entry is to be done as a STEEMIT POST tagging 'steemitbloggers'.

2. Post title must have '(Steemitbloggers Contest)'.

3. In your post, state who your partner is, and who does what.

4. Discuss with your partner, and share only ONE link in the discord channel which is the entry post link.

I started this internal contest for my family because I wanted to encourage a little healthy competition among members as well as get each one to engage with one another. A little rubbing shoulder is good for the community and what better way to do that through contests. Besides that, @steemitbloggers is known for their quality members in their own various niches and it will be very exciting to see all different creative minds enter in. I also want this contest to give a little purpose to the members, giving them ideas to write and to bring the best out of each individual.
