Sometimes SDCC likes to torture me by showing me all the amazing things I’ll never have a chance to possess. Things such as this amazing page of Original Art from Spider-Man #2 by the Toddfather himself...Todd McFarlane.
Todd is my all time favorite. Original Art from his run on Amazing Spider-Man is what I yearn for but I’d still do pretty much anything to own anything Spidey related...including this run. Shit, Todd could draw in Crayon on my hairy meat tits and I wouldn’t wash ever again. Deal with the stink folks...It’s just man tit sweat...
I’m curious as to what this ended up going for. I didn’t even bother checking as I stood zero chance out the gate but I’d bet it went over 15k.
IF we ever find ourselves in a healthy market and I find that the Crypto Gods smiled upon my portfolio...Snagging a piece from the master is definitely on the list of to do’s.

You doing SDCC? Could you grab one of those exclusive pops for @antimetica (see the comments section of this post) If for whatever reason he doesn't grab it, I will grab it from you for your time and make it my first Funko! (if there is even any left, just noticed @deadspace's comment lol).
Related to Todd, I had been watching a bunch of SyFy Wire "Artist Alley" episodes last night while drawing for the #TrialByComics, .. well his episode is of course great because Todd is such a character. He goes off on a teeny tiny rant regarding old school pencil artists with ANY commentary against digital artists
Actually this is the first year in 16 straight years that I will NOT be attending SDCC. Kinda bums me out as my streak of 15 straight years is now going to be broken but I kinda feel like I need a break from SDCC. It’s evolved to the point wgere everything is an overnight wait. Last year was so insanely hard to obtain anything decent.
As for the Pop @antimetica?? I’d love to help but not going for starters. The second problem is that is a Toy Tokyo Exclusive which is sold at the Funko booth. Being able to get onto the Funko booth is like winning the lottery. Actually they are doing a lottery to get in so you would not only ya have to be lucky enough to win the lottery against the other 150k people attending but get the earliest time slot for that day as anything else after that and the better pieces disappear for the day. It’s pretty shitty. Then there is the several hour wait to get in and then the several hour wait at their booth. All in all it’s a nightmare and one of the main reasons we decided not to attend this year and take a break. It’s gotten so out of control for pretty much anything and everything. I’m sorry!!!
As for Todd...love his videos. I’ll have to check that out. Lol.
I want to thank @cryplectibles for asking about this, what an awesome dude! I have started collecting again with things I love now and selling old stuff I no longer connect with. One of those things I still love is Heavy Metal so I'm really hoping I can find someone to pick up the Taarna funko at SDCC. It's really too bad you aren't going this year but after reading about how terrible it is with the crowds, wait, and disappointment I don't blame you at all! It's expensive to go there and then deal with all that. I bet others feel the same. I mean sure it's great to see fandom is still very healthy but that's ridiculous.
Yeah I have attended the last 15 straight years so while I’m bummed my streak is now interrupted...it’ll be a nice break. It’s gotten so out of control to get exclusives there. It’s always been tough but now it’s incilving sleeping outside...wasting most of your day...to me it’s just not worth it anymore in that regard. When I return most likely next year I think I’ll only be going for a short 2 day stint to mainly see my friends and take pics and stuff. Screw waiting for exclusives. Lol

Damn, dawg. In a way, I'm happy I haven't been able to attend Comic Con. Because there would just be so much shit I'd want to buy, and there's no way I could afford any of it, lol.
Hell, I've been super fucking jealous of all the exclusive Funko Pops being sold at SDCC. Been entering the Funko giveaways on Twitter hoping that some kind of celestial being will take pity upon me and toss me a cool pop in between all of the scrotum twisting life puts on me.
Yeah there is always so much shit I’d love to have. It’s a total cocktease. Lol
