I like the article. I just would hope that we would move beyond dependence on a nation-state as on organ of prodding social changes to happen. The nation state, whether you think it is necessary or not (and I do for at least the medium term), as well as private interests, are hierarchical institutions with a high capacity to limit autonomous action, but are also a product of autonomous action by individuals and communities at some point.
