Yes, the early days of rap were indeed fun .. it was fun and exciting, you never knew where they were going to take it next and I was constantly amazed by the range of their vocabulary and their linguistic acrobactics .. in musical terms they were creating new frontiers and kicking down the doors of perception and questioning dogmatic societal misconceptions.

In terms of music and media .. both music and comedy are a incredibly powerful form of propaganda, they are instigators of societal change and they are being increasingly utilised for this purpose. Like you say with youth, it's scary how maluable the mind is at that age and indeed messages absorbed by the subconscious increasingly play out in the real world.
