Contest: Write Your Own Conspiracy Theory And Win 5 STEEM

I am not a superstitious person and I like to think of myself as an open-minded individual. However, a little fact most people don't know about me is: I love conspiracy theories, the crazier the better.

Some of the greatest conspiracy theories include:

• The moon landing in 1969 was faked
• Paul McCartney of The Beatles dying and being replaced by a lookalike clone
• 9/11 was an inside job and the US Government was behind the attacks on the World Trade Centres and Pentagon in 2001
• Lizard people run the world
• The government is spraying us from the sky (chemtrails) to dumb us down and control us
• The US Government assasinated JFK
• The FDA and other government agencies have a cure for cancer and are knowingly withholding it
• A secret group known as the New World Order/Illuminati runs the world
• Barrack Obama is secretly a Muslim and he wasn't born in the US

This is why I am running a creative writing competition where the goal is to invent your own conspiracy theory, the more convincing the better.

If you need inspiration, I recently created a conspiracy theory as a challenge to myself alleging Madonna and the Illuminati killed Avicii. Completely fictional, but my aim was to create a satire of conspiracy theories.

Maybe you'll write a conspiracy that Donald Trump is just a character being played by an actor, or the Earth is an isosceles triangle (and not round or flat). Get creative, because you could go anywhere with this. Nothing is off limits.

Requirements and Rules

This is a creative writing competition and as such, there are not many rules for entering.

• Create your own 100% original conspiracy theory. Yes, I will be checking to make sure that you didn't steal the theory from elsewhere (so make sure you check first). So if you go writing conspiracies about 9/11, JFK and Lizard People, you're not going to win.
• You DO NOT have to resteem this contest, but it would be appreciated if you did.
• You can only enter once.
• Spell check your entries and use proper formatting (I want to see paragraphs and use of spaces between them).
• Mention/Link back to this post in your entry, and leave a comment below on this post with a link to your competition entry.
• Competition ends in 7 days after payouts
