Finish the Story Contest - WEEK #17/ The invasion of the aliens
Seeing that something so immense approached the earth, everyone ran scared fearing for their lives, while the prince and the sheriff fled on their horses to alert the others, giving the order to retreat, the ship made a forced landing leaving destroyed everything in its path, it seems that their crew were fleeing something.
After a few minutes, when they managed to open the hatch of the ship, millions of small spiders emerged and expanded rapidly, biting all those who were on the site and these became a kind of giant spiders and thus seized their bodies.
Little by little they spread everywhere, they were like a plague that wanted to seize the planet and sought to possess the best warriors to build an invincible army and thus seize the world and then go through the nearby galaxies, since their planet had been destroyed by an alien force stronger than them that was in charge to protect the galaxies and to finish with the races that looked for the destruction and deaths in other planets called the group extermination, a part of the alien spiders managed to escape in a ship before it was destroy their planet and they were wandering in space looking for a planet to seize and thus look for powerful warriors to take revenge for what they had done.
Seeing what was happening on earth and measuring the fighting power and ability of those fighters decided to go down, since their search had been completed, they found the best fighters and the most outstanding to turn them into their army and those who did not comply with their demands they served as slaves, the fight was just beginning and it was with an unknown enemy, the probability of survival was nil.
The soldiers and the sheriff of the town fought against the aliens to try to save their people but it was very difficult to avoid being bitten by such a small spider, they had already taken over the majority of the Vikings who outnumbered them in numbers.
The priest along with other parishioners of the town locked themselves in the small church to pray and the miracle happened, what they did not expect is that they were following a commission of the extermination group which already had them located and came to finish what they had I had survived that attack.
Soon several ships appeared out of nowhere and shot with special weapons all the people who had been bitten by spiders and spread a special gas which was a lethal poison for that type of alien, thus they assured that there was not going to be any hidden, it was a relentless slaughter and there was a significant loss of lives, perhaps the same amount that would have been had the war between the Vikings and the militia occurred, that is difficult to know.
After that event, peace reigned again in the town and a large part of the world.
