Hey IFC peoples!
The results for the second round of season two are in.

Sorry for the delay! I wanted to give all the judges time and not have them feel pressured and also one of our main judges has gone MIA and I wanted to wait a lil longer to see if she would show up as she's an important part of our community.

She has not responded to my tags, private message or email so.. I hope it's nothing too serious!

However we're almost half way through the season now and I don't want to get too far behind so I'm just going to call it now and keep moving.

This round was again difficult for me to judge like the rounds often are, at first I was going to give 2 or even 3 to shaheerbari cause I liked his entry so much, but then I saw the other entries and decided I would give 1 to bashadow because he pointed out how laughter can have a dark side as well and that we should try to be responsible with our sense of humor and 1 to quotes-haven as well because he had a wonderful summary on the subject and some great insight into laughter.

xomegax - 1 for jbreheny 2 for bengy When i read their post i found exactly what i wanted, stories, especialy bengy's because it connects between author and reader because its like he is there telling the stories

nmcdougal94 reasoning - You're weaving quite a story - looking forward to the future episodes/chapters. Really like the imagery that was incorporated throughout the piece to give the narrative some visual direction.
Bashadow reasoning - I think laughing at pain is an important step. Even at funerals or wakes if the opportunity is right. Grieving looks like a lot of different things for everyone but it definitely has too much crying (which can be healing too...). Glad you mention this point and included the astronauts picture. I don't remember that event but had a teacher that was really sentimental about that shuttle explosion when I was a kid.
leaky20 reasoning - Solid look at the topic of laughter from a biological and at times neurological perspective. Thanks for putting this write up together.

I was a little unsure about how to do the leaderboard this season without being too confusing, so... I'm going to put those who have won points from season 2 on top, and will keep those from season 1 on the bottom.

I think at the end of the season I will likely combine both season 1 and 2 scores together. If you played in season 1 you still have your exp and items, I'm just showing it this way so it's easier to keep track of who is in their proper ranking place during the new season.

Also if you scored any points so far you are automatically entered into the finals as it only takes 1 point this season to get entered into the finals. Players from last season will not be entered into the finals unless they score at least 1 point during this new season 2.
